Bobcat!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.

Here are some pics of a bobcat I encountered in Northern California. I have some nice landscapes and bird shots coming soon too.

I'd say about fifty to seventy yards. I think this particular cat was accustomed to seeing photographers. I was using a 100-500mm lens zoomed all the way in.

You even got one with the signature bobtail. I love wildlife photography though outside of some roadkill, I've only managed to capture lizards, pelicans, and other water-loving birds.

That bobcat looks so serene. Just another day taking my time hardly hunting in the sun.Bobcats like most humans are not built for top down social structures

I’ve seen exactly one bobcat in my life, and it was walking away from at twilight. Mostly all I saw and remember were its “false eyes” ears.

There used to be a very gnarly stuffed one at the school. Bobcats are one of my favorites, both in sports and nature.
