I remember very well. This little guy showed up right after the disastrous election and made me feel better for a couple of weeks taking care of him. The sugar water and the feeder kept freezing, here in this picture he’s sitting in the dried up hibiscus bush. He really didn’t belong here, especially not at that time of year, but they are occasionally seen in the east

was taken walking the 17th Century village of Culross in Scotland. Fans (like me!)of the books/TV series Outlander would recognize it as the village of Crainesmuir, home to Geillis Duncan, near Castle Leoch. Culross is a lovely little village.

I love going for walks at night. Especially in the Fall where the brightly colored leaves seem to glow under the light of the moon. Usually, the photos I take fail to capture the beauty of the leaf canopy. But I think this one does it justice. I guess you just get lucky once in a while!

near where I live in England, which is famous for a 1980 UFO incident apparently witnessed by a US Airforce member. Rendlesham Forest is a beautiful, peaceful (if not slightly creepy) place for a run or to walk dogs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rendlesham_Forest_incident]
