'Round The Farm Sunday

The basic breakfast routine with respectful regard to two good horsies.
Maddie gets her grain.

Pete, his hay.

Immediately Laurie starts breaking ice in the water tanks. (Tank heaters
still to come. Soon,)

Meanwhile Pete thinks maybe he should check his grain bucket just in case.

Empty. Sigh. Back to hay-net.

For her part Shadow searches for poopsicles, her favorite winter treat.

Suddenly Pete hears a noise in the chilly air.

Mommy's backing her pickup into the barn, in order to unload gate posts
for the two stalls.

Notwithstanding, Pete, Maddie and Shadow carry on.

Back inside Laurie checked the time.

Time for her traditional ten o'clock snack which goes back to her elementary school counseling days. An energy bar and cup of tea.

The rest of her day is still to come, but for the moment it's all good.

Water freezing 🥶, oh, my! I am understandably impressed by Laurie. She definitely deserves that mug of hot tea ☕️.

Sometimes it's good to see that regular life goes on. But it's looking kind of cold put there. Hope all of you stay warm and well this winter.
