My attempts capturing a hummingbird at the feeder.

Hummingbirds are migrating right now and our hummingbird feeders have been quite active. I never tire of watching them.

Were you using a tripod? I know I would be! But I tend to wobble.

I was just sitting on a lounge chair, but I did have my camera focused on the feeder.

But . . . I may set up a tripod in the future and connect my shutter release.

I think that anything you can do technically (like with these tools) will help you as you look at the birds.

saw a guy feeding a hummer with a bottle cap full of sugar water. The hummer would land on his hand and drink.
