Everything about it.
His understated delivery, the huge production, the skills of all the players, the pictures he paints with the lyrics.....
I did this song at an open mic night a couple months ago.
Obviously I had to leave out that epic series of solos.
I learned it on piano back when it was new, but now I play it on 12 string guitar.

After over 2,000 live performances in my musical life, I have no interest in regularly performing.
But, the crowd who shows up at these open mic nights, & the guys that run it, are all very good folks.
So, it's a way to hang out with other musicians, and support their efforts, as much as anything else.
Plus, it's only 4 blocks from our house!
Tonight I'm doing Back In The Chain Gang, Someday Some Way, & Everybody Wants To Rule The World.
