I PLAYED BASS IN A BAND WHEN THIS SONG FIRST CAME OUT. WE PLAYED IT AT ALL THE DANCES. IT WAS A BLAST, BEST TIME OF MY LIFE. I AM 70 AND STILL ROCKING.

A couple weeks ago, on Fb, I noted that my departed love's birthday was that day, and a few days later that it was my younger departed brother's birthday. Both of whom, I miss dearly. Both died from cancer. Had just shared a couple of posts in regards to the events, come over here to DU, and look at the music list, and here it was. Was still a teenager when this was popular. In high school .
