This song is so cool. It makes me glad that I grew up in the good old days before America gone wild .
In 1971 I was raising my two toddlers by myself. And I remember singing this song right along with them. I'm 70 years old now and still remember every word!❤❤
Seriously one of the greatest pop songs ever. Still sounds fresh and unique after all this time. And with wonderful, simple, yet deeply personal and touching lyrics - "and she feeds me love and tenderness and macaroons". Beautiful. And I don't even like macaroons.
