Honestly the most I could ever guess, because the variety of named items has been so wonderfully diverse, I imagined it could be a coded message to non-DU-members, who can read it because the site is open to anyone reading. Like in spy movies!

Alas, as usual, the truth of the matter is far more mundane.

then you could contact that person directly instead of thru ebay or etsy.

And the other assumption in my mind was that by saying "poke me" they were somehow getting around any DU rules.
