(29,719 posts)"Agha" is a word (like the Agha Khan) and I know it from crossword puzzles. But Wordle doesn't do plurals. It seems like a good guess word, though.

NY Times average 4.7 and Wordlebot in 4.
I suspect this requires an explanation. I've said previously that I use Try Hard guides to generate a list of possible word solutions, which I then check against a list of previous answers. Some people think that's cheating, but there are no rules against it. I also consider solving the puzzle an exercise in executive function, which requires using resources at hand for problem solving.
That said, after the first word, there were only two possible answers given the configuration of letters and elimination of others. One answer had recently been used, so I went with pshaw.

(11,078 posts)In this case, you would be forced to use the letter 'a' in your subsequent word guesses, instead of using non 'a' words to eat up letters.
"STERN" would have been flagged as an illegal word because it doesn't have the letter 'a' in it.
My sister would do the same.

(29,719 posts)I had to resort to putting in a word I knew was wrong just to place a letter (I had four of the letters) once the A was in place, I figured it out.
