(IVDD) is a spinal condition in dogs and cats where the cushioning discs between the vertebrae degenerate, bulge, or rupture, causing pressure on the spinal cord and nerves. This pressure can lead to a range of symptoms from mild pain and weakness to paralysis and loss of bladder or bowel control.
