Oct 30 - back in the day us little kids would do pretty harmless things like ringing doorbells and drawing on windows with soap. One night a police officer put the pack of us in his car and accused us of doing a lot worse (ripping out rose bushes). The oldest of us persuaded him we were innocent and he let us go. I ran home, shut myself in my room and cried for hours (I was 7). My parents never found out.

Fooled just about everyone because those band kids can't be up to no good.

College band was even crazier.

Too much to recall.

And while playing with the burn barrel, it jumped out and burned the field next to some large company. The employees had to run out and extinguish the flames before they reached the building.

I didn’t get in trouble and I don’t think there was a fine.

I now pray to Agni to contain my fires.

I'm sure I did this as I was always a smart alec kid. Unfortunately, I didn't know what "mocking" meant and no one told me....

I still remember her coming at me with a bar of soap to wash out my mouth (yes, some moms actually did that). My defense was - "there's nothing bad about it - it rhymes with shucks".

Yeah, I don't know how you're supposed to know. The punishment is to make sure you don't forget it.

I was in elementary school and decided it would be a good idea to write it on the bathroom stall.
I was in Catholic school. Let's just say, it didn't go ever very well.

That said...I started smoking at 16 (11 years since I quit). I shoplifted a Playgirl as it wasn't easy for a young gay boy to find pics of naked men. I lived near DC when I was in my last two years of HS and would frequently sneak into the city and clubs. I was cute, so I was able to get into clubs that I shouldn't have. I developed a system of cheating to help a friend of mine who was Iranian and trying to pass HS to make it easier to get citizenship. She did! I used to "drop food" at a few of the places I worked in order to give away food to some people who I knew needed it. For prom, I got high as a kite on the grounds of the Washington Monument.
