UFC fighters, bug concerns and a lawsuit: A breakdown of the $60 million event at the White House this weekend

(Yahoo News) The White House's Ultimate Fighting Championship event is proceeding as planned, even as the Trump administration fights a federal lawsuit that's seeking to stop it from taking place at one of the most iconic landmarks in the world this weekend.

The main event of UFC Freedom 250 will be a series of mixed martial arts fights on June 14, which marks Flag Day and President Trump's 80th birthday. On the South Lawn of the White House, a roughly 90-foot-tall arched lighting grid, which the UFC calls "The Claw," towers over a temporary 5,000-seat arena, complete with an octagonal fight cage.

A lawsuit filed Saturday by the Public Integrity Project on behalf of two Virginia residents, a Vietnam War veteran and a civic activist, sought a temporary restraining order to halt the UFC event. They argue that officials failed to follow federal rules and regulations to allow a privately run event to take place on government property. They also allege that the event is "corrupt" because it will benefit Trump, who owns stock in UFC's parent company, TKO.

I will never ever watch a wrestling match, other than a college age or high school age wrestling matches.

I do enjoy the matches, but the UFC isn't (in my opinion) valid. It's just more comedy wrestling or showmanship which of course tRUMP is the ringmaster of (and a joke too).

As Sen. McCain once described it. He eased off on his criticism later.

...he was running an earlier version of these fights, which were not legal (or something like that) in most of the country. John McCain was intent on federal regulations that would have cut into Trump's profits...and whoever else was making money on That Sort of Thing in Atlantic City in those days. (Trump's concrete vendor friends? Who knows.)

His brain is rancid cheese at this point, but when he holds a grudge, his quest for revenge continues on.

If I find a link to more info, I'll post it.
