Blair and Rubio among names on Gaza 'Board of Peace'

The Trump administration has named US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and former UK prime minister Sir Tony Blair as two of the founding members of its "Board of Peace" for Gaza.

Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff and the president's son-in-law Jared Kushner will also sit on the "founding executive board", the White House said in a statement, external on Friday.

Trump will act as chairman of the board, which forms part of his 20-point plan to end the war between Israel and Hamas.

Also on the founding executive board are Marc Rowan, the head of a private equity firm, World Bank chief Ajay Banga and a US national security adviser, Robert Gabriel.

So, the Trump family money men, Trump's billionaire buddy whose family is in business with the Trumps, another billionaire American, the World Bank chief, the UK ex-PM who is obsessed with money, and a Trump regime guy to take care of security. This is a financial board, designed to profit from Gaza. "Peace" only comes into it in the sense of "it's easier to make money when war isn't raging". I would think that being part of governing Gaza would be beneath someone that held the title Prime Minister of the UK but Trump wants to run other countries and even American cities even though he already has the title President of the US.

One of the reasons why I think Trump is hard to stop is there are so many politicians such as Blair that are like him but don't often say the quiet part out loud.

It should be called the 'Board of Piece of the Action'. It has nothing to do with peace, it has to do with stealing the good old fashion mafia style Capitalist way. I've been disappointed in both Carney and Trudeau since the beginning of the ethnic cleansing, land theft operation and genocide. They are both nakedly pro-Israel.
