Rebecca Good, 40, is the wife and now widow of Renee Nicole Good, the 37-year-old woman who was fatally shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent during a federal operation in Minneapolis. The guidelines say no More than 4 paragraphs, not that you must put 4 paragraphs.

(57,592 posts)Survivors tend to have survivor guilt. This feels exploitive of Rebecca.
But I'm sure Noem loves the headline.

Also, what a beautiful smile Renee had

(40,218 posts)I'm single but I frequently drive with other women in the passenger seat for the simple reason that some of my friends cannot drive for one reason or another. Does this mean I'm going to be shot in broad daylight because I had the bad luck of driving down the wrong street? This is insanity ....
Americans cannot live this way ....
And why should ICE-goons be allowed to do this?

(2,839 posts)And many of them harbor all manner of animosities towards particular groups of their fellow Americans. A disdain for, and suspicion against, African Americans being a rather well-known one, but there are others.
And in absolutely NO WAY am I suggesting " ICE-goons be allowed to do this", so I hope that was not directed at me.

(40,218 posts)Of course I wasn't directing this at you personally. Two women riding together in a car doesn't mean they are lesbians, that was my point.
This thing in Minneapolis is getting me all emotional and upset. I know several people in Minnesota, including my own nephew and his lovely fiancee. Minnesotans are just the sweetest, nicest people on earth, and I can't imagine the horror they are going through right now.

(2,839 posts)that I was not aware existed or fail to intuit that what I'm saying could be seen as offensive. I can be a little daft sometimes. All good, friend
And yeah, OMFG I'm basically non-functional over this murder. I'm even craving going to the damn liquor store even though I *really* try to drink only on vacation or a very special occasion. This has me wanting to down a 750ml of vodka like nothing else since the night IQ47 won.
I'm just so, SOOOOO FUCKING PISSED, and heartbroken for this beautiful lady and her family, esp. the 3 kids
