A Department of Defense plane carrying Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro arrived in New York on Saturday evening.
Photos of the plane landing and Maduro departing the plane started to appear at around 5 p.m. ET. The plane landed at Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, New York.
The U.S. military carried out strikes in Caracas overnight Friday and captured Maduro and his wife as they tried to enter a saferoom in their home, according to U.S. President Donald Trump.
Maduro, his wife, and his son have been formally indicted in the Southern District of New York, including charges of narco-terrorism conspiracy, according to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi.
