Alaska Airlines flights were grounded nationwide on Thursday after the airline said it was experiencing an "IT outage affecting operations."
The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop after a request by the airline.
We apologize for the inconvenience. If you're scheduled to fly tonight, please check your flight status before heading to the airport," the airline said in a statement.
Alaska Airlines flights departing from Seattle Tacoma International Airport were not affected, according to the latest advisory from the FAA.
It's the second IT outage affecting the airline this year.
In July, an IT outage halted flights for about three hours.
This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
