'Economic blackout' boycott will target Amazon, Twitch and Whole Foods

Amazon faces a week-long “economic blackout” with consumers urged to boycott the retail giant and some of its biggest subsidiaries.
Advocacy group The People’s Union USA is calling on Americans to abstain from making purchases from Amazon’s main site as well as the other companies it owns including Amazon Alexa, IMDb, Prime Video, Ring, Twitch, Whole Foods and Zappos.
John Schwarz, 57, the leader of the protest, told his 370,000 Instagram followers that the boycott would begin on Friday and run until March 14. The dad-of-three from Chicago, told CNET Wednesday that the objective of the “calculated strike” is simple: for Amazon to record a dip in sales.
In a post on Tuesday, Schwarz described how to “hit” Amazon the hardest and take a stand against its impact on small businesses and treatment of workers after the company reported a 10 percent year-on-year increase in net sales in Q4 2024 to almost $188 billion last month.

when I was hobby-building PCs for my SETI@Home "WU farm" (I was part of a small SETI team) - a few that were caseless. 
I know that Amazon is not just a seller and re-seller, but also has a shipping business that competes with UPS/Fedex/USPS, etc.
I know there was a big "B2B" (Business to Business) push back years ago and I think that is when many of these types of agreements began to come into fruition.
I just bought something on ebay.com and it looked like it was from amazon.com. It was the same price that amazon.com is selling the item for.
The other item was in Walmart packaging. 
So the 7th arrived and I needed my orthodontic retainer cleaning tablets. Amazon is the only place I can get them. Ortho appliances are not like dentures. If you clean them with denture cleaners, they absorb the acids and the acids in denture cleaners will eat your teeth! Ortho appliance cleaning products are peroxide based. Anyway, I thought I would have to go for a month without them, so I ordered them shortly after midnight on the 7th. I could have waited a week, but thought I would need to wait for a month!
Polident made a similar product, but discontinued it. There is also an indie company that makes them. (Order from Amazon or dental supply, but the dental supply required a license) This aligner cleaner is not even on Crest's website.
