According to Fox News reporter John Roberts, the 79-year-old president is interested in turning the South American country of Venezuela into the 51st U.S. state. “Just got off the phone with @realDonaldTrump ... he told me he is seriously considering a move to make Venezuela the 51st state…” Roberts claimed in a post on X on Monday, May 11.

According to other stories I have read is he wants control over their oil.
