Mark Kelly Says 'Trump And Republicans Knew' As ACA Subsidy Expiring Drove Millions Off Insurance

Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz) said rising health insurance costs are forcing Americans off coverage after enhanced subsidies tied to the Affordable Care Act expired, warning policymakers failed to prevent predictable premium hikes.

ACA Premiums Spike, Millions Lose Coverage
On Wednesday, Kelly posted on X, criticizing President Donald Trump and GOP lawmakers for their inaction.

"Trump and Republicans knew what would happen if they let health care premiums skyrocket: Americans wouldn't be able to afford it and families would lose their insurance. Now it's happening, and they still have no solution," Kelly wrote.

He added, "We must keep fighting to bring down the cost of health care."

They don't care so long as they get theirs.

“…..Republicans knew this would happen and they have no solution”. This is what they’re hoping for.

They’d be grinning the most Grinchy grins about that, since they hate the most successful anti-poverty program in the history of the US. This is how Republicans get rid of stuff they dislike: DEFUND it, scream “fraud!”, fire everybody, then grouse that the agency or program doesn’t work after they destroyed and defunded it. Or, that it should be privatized so their billionaire buddies can make billions off it, make it 4x more expensive to run and shitty as hell.

I’ve seen some Dem Congresscritters posting about Social Security in the past few days - something they rarely (inexplicably) do since they all seem to want to just ignore it most of the time.

It makes me wonder WTH they know is going on with it right now with it, that we are not aware of.
