The third 'No Kings' protests against the Trump administration are planned across the U.S. on Saturday.

Demonstrators will gather in thousands of locations across the United States for the third series of “No Kings” protests against the Trump administration’s policies.

More than 3,000 local events have been planned for Saturday, in what organizers say will be the largest collective protest in American history. Dozens of events have also been planned outside the U.S.

“People across the country are organizing, showing up for their neighbors, and making one thing unmistakably clear: we are done with the corruption, the cruelty, and the authoritarianism,” Ezra Levin, co-executive director of the advocacy group Indivisible, wrote in a statement earlier this month.

This will be the third “No Kings” protest event since the start of President Trump’s second term. The first was held on June 14, the same day as the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary military parade in Washington, D.C. — which was also Trump’s 79th birthday. An estimated 5 million people gathered at 2,100 locations. The second edition in October may have been even bigger. Organizers estimated that 7 million people took part, while an independent estimate put the number at between 5 million and 6.5 million.

We’ve been getting rain at least few times a week, spring is iffy. I noticed Minneapolis is mid to high 40’s with sun tomorrow so happy for them.

I'm getting a dishwasher delivered/installed tomorrow. As of right now I don't know what time they'll be here. They say they'll call in the morning and give me their 2 hour window.

I asked if they could give me a late window but they go by zip code so they can't do that.

I.am.bummed.

I haven't been to any of them yet--- but I have a lot of 'issues'---

Lack of working personal transportation, avoiding the cold, some difficulty walking very far
or being on my feet for too long, and an aversion to being in any crowds as well as
personal dislike to strangers speaking to me in person, both of which were
worsened by the COVID crisis.... I'm a very shy guy, in person....
(but on the internet, I'm an 'armchair warrior' hahaha!)

However..... I note that there's another 'No Kings' protest scheduled for June this year---

I have hopes of actually making that one, and am placing myself 'in reserve'!
(At least it won't be too cold by that point.... and maybe I can buy myself a 'folding chair'!)

GOD BLESS (so to speak) ALL of you patriots who can show up tomorrow !!!
