(97,530 posts)I am thrilled that they are promoting it. I like MSNBC...at least the 4 pm on crew. They catch a lot of flax here. Not sure why.
I am going to the one in town...it's just down the street.

Don't make it easy for the scum to ID you!
I love MSNBC - magats, too. Sadly, only the most expensive cable tier includes it, so I said fuckitall & quit with tv >10 yrs ago.
I could have easily paid for it, just chose not to.

(113,890 posts)I'm going to take along a compact collapsible hiking/walking stick to see if that won't get me through and take some pressure off of it.
Unfortunately, I have not had the time to make a sign and I work tonight, but am hoping the organizers will have some available or materials I can chip in for to make one if I get there just a bit ahead of time. I think I was told they did the last time.
Any creative wording thoughts? I thought I would be working throughout the 03/28 march so I'm doing this last minute now that i should be able to get there in time.

(113,890 posts)as effective as removing the battery or SIM card to prevent tracking. And I'm going to park quite some distance away (thus my concern about my ankle holding up). I live in baseball caps when not at work, but think I will switch out to a bigger wide-brimmed woven hat. I'll take a scarf (gaiter) in case I feel it necessary to cover any part of my face.
I'm not going to one of the big ones in Denver so hopefully it will be less targeted.

(11,263 posts)Just stand along the side of the road and wave and hold up your sign. Works well for those of us with knee/hip/ankle issues.

I will wear my "What Would Jimmy Carter Do?" t-shirt again,
I was nervous for the first one (we are a small place but it is very red), but not for the second one.
I am at peace if there is a problem, I could not live with myself if I did not go.

(130,479 posts)Gonna haul my arthritic old carcass to the big one in St. Paul even though my knees are likely to complain afterwards; that's why there's ibuprofen. I wouldn't miss this for the world after all the crap the regime has put us through this winter.
