Sen. Chris Murphy: In a few minutes I'm heading to the Senate floor to force a vote - tonight - to end the war in Iran

If Republicans won’t hold a debate and vote on this illegal, incompletely run war, then Democrats will. I will be joined on the floor by my Senate allies in this fight.

I don't have a link to the Senate floor.

Murphy has taken a more aggressive stance since the start of the war than many of his colleagues. He has argued the Senate shouldn’t proceed to any other legislative business until Congress votes on authorizing the use of military force.

And he has repeatedly called for Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to testify before Congress on the ongoing military campaign in Iran. But no such hearings have materialized.

Also might be time to begin conversations about how the USA should re-build Islamic Iran and pay the regime some damages.
