I voted in the Illinois primary today.

The good news? all my candidates look like they're going to win.

The bad news? not a single Dem candidate for any of the local offices here in beet red Fayette County.

I wrote my own name in. But next time I'm at a party gathering, I'm going to see what can be done about that. But in this area, today there are several congressional districts where no Republicans were running. And most of the state legislative districts in Cook County had no Republican on the primary ballot. So it balances out.
