Taking a Dump

Apparently Mango Mussolini is having the "dirt" construction waste from the demolition of the East Wing dumped onto East Potomac Golf Course which is part of East Potomac Park, a part of the National Capital Park system, a federal park managed by NPS. It has a huge host of facilities that are free and open to the public.

About three miles away at East Potomac Golf Links, a fresh pile of dirt appeared near the course's ninth fairway this week. Regular golfers at the course say it's a new sight.

"This is definitely new to say the least," said Blake Stanton of Arlington, who has played the course for about five years.

"Since I played last week, there's a construction site in the middle here," said fellow golfer Jake Fleischer. "It kind of butts up to the 9th fairway here. I have no clue. They didn't mention it when we made our reservation, but something's going on."

They are supposedly going to use some of the "dirt" to make hills and such but this golf course part of a national park and you cannot just make changes to it on a whim. There is a process.
Dumping construction waste on a national park is absolutely insane but expected, I guess, from this lot.

I'm out of the news loop. Is anyone asking about that? Or are we just trusting those things were handled by the Archives or whoever handles those things & they end up in the private collection of one of the ballroom donors? That's what I think will happen.

6. Possibly moved to archived collections, which are huge. This happens all the time.

Whether or not Turnip bothered to do so is an open question. But there are people around the WH who would have known to do these things, if given sufficient notice.

Wouldn't surprise me if Turnip just kept a lot of them. Time to search the bathrooms at Mar-a-Lardo again.

Not any more.

I can barely read the news & haven't been on DU much cuz it's all so GD depressing. I know that's just where they want you so I bought a couple of new yard signs. I have almost a dozen & rotate through them, a different one every day, although the TRUMP FOR PRISON one goes out twice a week.

“It almost sounds unbelievable," Fleischer said. "But yeah, that's what I've been told. And if that's true, I guess we'll be playing on pieces of history for years to come here."
"I mean, yeah, I agree with him," Stanton added. "It's kind of cool. It's like pieces of history, playing on pieces of history. At least it's not going to waste, right?"

in order to destroy that also. Thus, it would make his Trump National Golf Club in nearby Sterling, Virginia, all the more desirable in an effort to eliminate competition. Wouldn't put it past him!
