The WH had to move office equipment, desks, chairs etc from the Entire East Wing before

the bulldozers etc came and demolished the East wing on Monday.
I did not hear a peep of any office moving unless I completely missed it.
Anyone else hear or read about any moving of office stuff?? Curious.

And hasn't assumed any formal role so I presume they were unoccupied anyway

But no, there's was no mention of such activity within the White House in the weeks leading up the destruction. Surprising, too, as you'd think someone would have leaked something.

we can assume that was the whole reason for the rushed job to get it done then. All the emphasis was on the No Kings while the one who claims to be king tears down the artifact acknowledging the people as the only "kings" in this country. THAT didn't come from trump... I'd be willing to bet that was Stephen Miller all the way.

may have been used. If it had'nt already undergone asbestos abatement previously, then I would guess the way it was torn down released a lot of asbestos fiber into the environment. I also wonder if the demolition workers were provided with proper safety equipment. (Doubtful)

You would think that a major renovation (if legit) would have been celebrated and anticipated, but not this.

Rump was probably told over and over that it was a bad idea. That would be enough to make someone with his ego want to do it all the more.

This is the way he operates. Comes in like gangbusters and just demolishes everything and every norm. No preparation was ever made for the demolition.
