East wing demo

Were any of the architectural pieces that needed to be saved, saved ? Or was everything just bulldozed with no thought to preserving any of the architectural pieces inside or on the east wing?
I hope the Democrats push the demolition of the White House as hard as the Epstein files. Losing our democracy, should be at the top of the list, but we are trying to reach people who don’t pay much attention to politics. For those people, the destruction of the White House and the Epstein files are huge.
