'No Kings organizer says there will be a third round of protests'

(CBS News) "Millions of Americans took to the streets over the weekend for the 'No Kings' protests, voicing their opposition to the Trump administration and its policies. Ezra Levin, co-executive director of Indivisible, one of the groups behind the event, joins CBS News to discuss what comes next."

Link to No Kings Alliance site and announcement:

"There will be more mass protests in our future, but before that, there will be authoritarian overreach to defend against…and quickly. What we do will change week to week. Whatever the moment requires, we’ll adapt. Because authoritarianism doesn’t stand alone — it survives on silence, complicity, and cash flow. The No Kings Alliance is simple: make it impossible for anyone — in power, in profit, or in denial — to quietly capitulate."

We got 7 million last time and we need 15 million this time ASAP.
He is insane. Tearing down the White House, murdering people in boats in the Caribbean,
send military troops into U.S. cities, demanding the states turn over their election data
so they can rig future elections, yelling @ Zelenskyy to surrender 25 % or more of Ukrainian
lands and people to Putin, and grifting billions as President after a dirty election.

He needs to be removed.

Silent submission. Even praising them isn't enough to keep you off their hit list. If pedo Trump could humiliate Putin, he would. But Trump is too stupid to be able to do it. So instead he gets chummy with him.

As these song lyrics describe the psycho's/dictator's mind set.

You should see me in a crown
I'm gonna run this nothing town
Watch me make 'em bow
One by one by one
One by one by
You should see me in a crown
Your silence is my favorite sound
Watch me make 'em bow
One by one by one
One by one by one

Every single time he makes a foray against Putin,
he backs down and goes completely the other way.

13. Individuals ARE responsible for doing some of the work to stay informed

It was ALL over the internet, TV media, and newspapers in most markets. If people didn't know about the event, they need to take their heads out of the sand. We can't force our way into their homes, grab their heads and turn them to the tv screen to catch some news.

And if there was no No Kings event in an area, it is the job of those LOCALS to get info and put together LOCAL event. That's how it has worked in my little RED city in the borderlands.

If Americans are not happy about what their government is doing, or not doing, it is the RESPONSIBILITY of those people to get informed, get organized, do something to make their voices heard.

Willful ignorance is no excuse/exemption/rationale for saying 'I didn't know'. The information was everywhere it could possibly be. If members of the public aren't informed about an event that got so much publicity, that is on them, not the event.

7. Shut the spending down. We have yet to put our full weight and effort behind spending boycotts.

Consumer dollars are one of our best weapons. Votes only work every 2-4 years. Consumer dollars hold power and leverage 24/7-365.
Wages and benefits trickle down. Consumer dollars flow up. Control the flow. Control their profits. Stop giving the fascist mob your money. Make MAGA float the economy.

If 10 million people cut an extra $25.00 a week from their spending that would be $2.5 Billion not in the fascist economy.
$25.00 is a week of Starbucks on the way to work.

All it takes is participation.

Anything we can do to reduce profits of the corporations, especially those that support Trump, is a blow to the ruling class and a step in the right direction.

I love seeing all of our peaceful liberals showing out at these rallies.

What needs to happen is to translate this passion into a No Kings to the polls on election day. They should already be setting it up for November 2026 & November 2028.

There needs to be something different.

A nationwide strike would be wonderful but would people jeopardize jobs to participate?

A national "Boycott The Chains". or "Boycott Big Corporations" day might raise a few eyebrows.
