Sen Chris Murphy just made a good point with Chris Hays:

For the amount of money Trump is giving Argentina, they could end the shut down now because it’s enough to cover the Affordable Care Act subsidies, which is what the squabble is all about.

But Trump would rather help a right wing buddy than help Americans.

America first, or Argentina first? I get confused because they both start with the letter A

The American rightwing voters were just so confused.

Their subconscious wish to throw themselves at the feet of a strongman that would solve all their problems made them hear “America first”.

No, it’s always the strongman, the autocrat first; everyone else are just pawns to be used and discarded as needed by the strongman.

But only the GOP-controlled House has the power to impeach. They're not doing a damned thing, and even if they did, the GOP-controlled Senate would never convict him. That's what I meant about them abdicating their responsibility. So much for checks and balances!

He nuked the filibuster a few weeks ago to ram thru a boatload of judges.

He can do that again today (they don’t want to because firing federal employees and blocking the Epstein Files vote in the House is worth it to them)

Donald has no intention of giving anything to Democrats...or people who are not in his sphere.
He is going to teach us whose kingdom this is.
