The General Services Administration is asking hundreds of employees dismissed under Tesla CEO Elon Musks cost-cutting measures to return, following lawmaker criticism of the cuts impact on operations. Affected workers have reportedly been given a deadline to respond by the end of the week.

A General Services Administration spokesperson stated, GSAs leadership team has reviewed workforce actions and is making adjustments in the best interest of the customer agencies we serve and the American taxpayers.
