DOGE fallout?

I tried ordering 3 national forest maps from the US Geological Service for my vacation. I was able to log on, create an account and request my maps; however, to confirm my order they were supposed to send me an email. No matter how I tried no email. So, I called the customer service number and got a woman who was on a bad phone connection. She was helpful but said 2 of the maps I wanted were 'out of stock' and couldn't find a listing for the 3rd forest. We're talking about 5 million acres of federal land, with no current maps! Used to be USGS had all the forest maps in stock. Could this be DOGE budget and staffing cuts in play?
