BWAHAHA! Pope Leo's POPE-A-PALOOZA on JUNE 14 is gonna kick Needy Amin's Birthday Bash right in the NUTS.

Though Pope Leo XIV is on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, the pontiff’s supporters will get to hear from him at a Mass and celebration of his election next month at Rate Field.

Pope Leo will offer a “special video message to the young people of the world,” at the event, which is scheduled for June 14 at 333 W. 35th St., home of the White Sox, the Archdiocese of Chicago announced.

The “once-in-a-lifetime celebration” will include music, film, in-person testimonials and prayer, the archdiocese said. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated after the program.

Gates will open for the event at 12:30 p.m., with the celebration taking place at 2:30 p.m. and the Mass beginning at 4 p.m., the archdiocese said. More information on the event will come later.

The Pope's message of love and peace is going up against turd boy's ego fest, based on hatred and intolerance. You go Pope Leo!

The Pope's celebration begins at 2:30 (presumably central time, or 3:30 eastern time); the Mass will be at 4 pm presumably 5 central time). The Trump parade is set to begin at 6 pm eastern.

Easy prediction -- there will be substantially more media coverage of the parade than of the Pope's celebration and mass.

Trump will absolutely get coverage, because any media outlet failing to do so knows it will incur his "wrath."

And because it takes away a bit of the media spotlight, Trump will obviously post on social media that the audience for his multimillion dollar birthday parade drew the most bigly yuge audience of any parade ever in the history of parades.

Of course this is the same day as the "No Kings" protests, but I'm sure it will attract a lot of people who wouldn't take part in those evrnts anyway. And it's another big event that will take an additional chunk of attention off of Schlump's birthday bash, so YAY for that!

Enjoy your stupid little birthday festivities, Schlump!
Signed, one of the millions of Americans who will have much better things to do that day than watch your masturbatory military parade.

The Vatican (home of St. Peter, Jesus's "rock" for building Jesus's church) is in square miles the smallest country on Earth, but its population is across six continents.

(raised Lutheran, became Catholic in college in the wake of John XXIII and while surrounded by wonderful Catholic teachers and fellow students.) And frankly, any Pope who is not widely liked outside the church was the wrong choice. It appears this was the right choice.

So, I don't expect any leniency toward the LGBT community. I hope the pope remains silent on LGBT issues rather than make any pronouncements that marginalize or otherwise limit LGBT participation in society.

But as far as the Augustinians' emphasis on "community, humility, and service", as they say, and Leo XIV's positions on the poor from before he was pope, I'm for it and I hope he hammers the rich elites of the world weekly. I want to like this guy.
