AL-GOV: It's official: Tommy Tuberville is running for governor of Alabama

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville on Tuesday launched a website to campaign for governor of Alabama in 2026, ending months of speculation about his political future.

“Like President Trump, I’ll continue to protect common sense and stand up for our shared conservative values in Montgomery,” the site -- Coach Tuberville For Governor states.

Tuberville has said for months he is considering a run for governor instead of seeking a second term in the Senate.

“The Will Cain Show” on Fox News posted on social media on Tuesday that Tuberville will be on this afternoon with an “exclusive announcement.”

It really depends on who is running against him; he is that dumb, and has pissed off a lot of the old families. He's still a carpetbagger.
There are a lot of old Confederates with Money who don't like *rump policies that are costing them money.
Tuberville's stupidity was acceptable when there was a Democratic President in power and Alabama power needed someone to throw a monkey wrench in Democratic policies, but it's a different situation when one of theirs is in power and needs a bit of "holding back" instead of cheering on.
