John Kerry strongly defended Biden in interview with Christine Ananpour

The interview reminds me why I have always been incredibly impressed with Kerry's integrity and character. I saw this interview because a friend posted it on Facebook. Looking for a better link, it seems this was never on cable, just a pod cast.

Given that the real, central issue of Tapper's allegations is how Biden was doing as President, it is very disconcerting that few in the media are interviewing people who actually were there.

It’s just a damn shame, we had so many people that should’ve been president and couldn’t get elected because of the small minds of so many of our voters

I noticed that both he and Teresa were among the people at Pope Francis's funeral in the NYT photos.

I am concerned by the way MAGA has some real degree of success in rewriting history. According to them, Trump restored America's economy creating the best economy ever. In fact, he inherited a thriving economy that was greatly stimulated by an unsustainable tax cut, but which was slowing even before COVID. They are now speaking of the terrible Biden economy, when in fact, Biden and the fed, avoided the expected recession and led the strongest economy in the world. He actually took credit for the late 2023/early 2024 upswing claiming it was in anticipation of his Presidency AND then blamed Biden for the spring 2024 economy!

Looking at the attacks on universities, law firms and media companies, I worry that a long unbalanced media will become even less balanced.

John Kerry was a member of the United States National Security Council and Biden's United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate (an executive branch position specifically created by Biden to elevate the importance of climate change).
