But a really bad idea.

I know.

Once I met the RG at the airport. He was waiting for his bags to come off the plane. I stealthily came up behind him and started scrunching his ears.

He was quite indignant. His business associates were on the other side of the conveyor belt and were laughing and pointing.

Cost us some dignity.

I’m laughing now but it wasn’t funny then.

When their dignity is assaulted in public.

How do you think Putin would act if his lover/girlfriend/wife/or whatever called him “lover baby” in public?

And then scrunched his ears?

All that macho image building down the drain in a single second.

In France as well as Italy -

Knows nothing happens behind closed doors. Nothing.

Also she shouldn't have done it. My Great Grandfather was off the boat from Southern France and my husband is off the plane from the Calabria (hard headed) region of Italy.

I know first hand how much it takes to not pop him one. They are out here saying shit and starting fights

Macron’s office plays down video of French President being ‘slapped by wife’
Emmanuel Macron's office has been forced to play down a video in which his wife, Brigitte, appeared to slap of push him in the face as the couple arrived in Vietnam at the start of a Southeast Asia tour.

The French President’s wife, Brigitte Macron appears to shove her husband before he descended from the presidential plane on Sunday.

She remained hidden behind the plane's fuselage, blocking any view of her body language. The couple then descended the steps together.

An Elysee official played down the moment, denying it showed an argument between the couple: "It was a moment when the president and his wife were relaxing one last time before the start of the trip by having a laugh."

"My wife and I were squabbling, we were rather joking, and I was taken by surprise," Macron told reporters in Hanoi. Now it's "become a kind of planetary catastrophe, and some are even coming up with theories," he said. Macron referred to other incidents, including the images shot on a train to Kyiv where some accounts falsely claimed he shared cocaine with Merz and Starmer.

This is the third time this month that the French president has been the subject of viral video footage at a time when France says it is being targeted by repeated disinformation campaigns as Russia steps up attacks on Ukraine. Other than the false cocaine claims, images emerged purporting to show Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan dominating the French leader in a handshake.

"For three weeks... there are people who have watched videos and think I shared a bag of cocaine, that I had a fight with the Turkish president, and that now I'm having a domestic dispute with my wife," said Macron. "None of these are true," he said. He added that all three videos were "completely authentic" but the meanings attached to them were not.

which, to me, indicates they want to hide something.

Macron's office initially denied the authenticity of the images, evoking the possible use of artificial intelligence, before they were confirmed as genuine and Macron responded.

"In these three videos I took a tissue, shook someone's hand and just joked with my wife, as we do quite often. Nothing more," Macron said.

There was Akebono, the first American Yokozuna, and Takanohana, the young Japanese superstar on the rise.

It was the first time I could talk sports around the watercooler with my colleagues, something many people take for granted.

Later I was back in Japan with two young sons. It was during Asashōryū 's winning streak. I had fun turning the boys onto the sport.

Now I follow on-line. Thirty years later and I still enjoy it.

her in front of the cameras and off the plane. That looks like an exasperated shove to go on then and leave her alone. I’m just taking into account the stress of travel and constant cameras and the pressure especially on women to look good all the time. Maybe she needed more time to compose herself.

She shouldn’t have done that, and who will ever really know what it was about, but it looks like she was being rushed and didn’t like it. He is anxiously trying to get going, and she’s not ready.

He gained his composure and smiled and waved at the cameras.

He still waited for her so that they could descend the steps together.

He extended his arm to his wife like a gentleman would for a lady.

She ignores it.

This wasn't playful banter, this was a disagreement between the couple.

I don't know what their marriage is like so hopefully this unfriendly physical contact isn't a common occurrence.
