James Cagney is perfect as the cargo ship's deranged Captain. If he had orange make-up and a dead ferret on his head, it would be the best portrayal of Trump as I could imagine.
One of scenes: The Captain is berating Mr. Roberts for allowing the crew to take off their shirts in the heat. He puts Mr. Roberts on Report and orders him confined to his cabin for 20 days. As Mr Roberts turns to leave, another ship comes along side for supplies. The Captain doesn't know how the job is done and orders Mr Roberts to do it. Mr. Roberts says, "you told me to go to my cabin." The Captain says, "Never mind what I told you, I'm telling you now," to stay and supervise the offloading.
