for his term to be over.
And we will be left swimming in billions of dollars of debt.

(18,334 posts)..... electronics installed during the retrofit to protect the presidential plane - now available to adversaries and enemies to copy or reverse engineer so they can duplicate for their use or circumvent the system for any attacks to other future presidential aircrafts.
Presidential aircraft technology can not fall into the hands of djt because he lacks the decency not to share such secret and confidential information with our potential enemies. If money enters the equation to divulge secrets,.. djt is inclined to hand over the secrets for a nice big wad of cash and a spray painted golden bobble that he can play with and admire.

(18,334 posts)Djt can not be trusted with confidential, secret, or top secret information.
The top secret - ground to air - and air to air -missiles defense system protecting Air Force One would alone command a hefty price tag.
Then the sophisticated communications system and its internal workings would be another thing potential enemies would like to get their hands on.
Djt simply can not be trusted with this under his direct command and control without the Air Force having a role of guardian for these top secret systems.

None of the secrets or decisions were given to Trump.
This is the real reason Trump hated Milley.

(5,021 posts)a prez library than my cat is. The billion $ of defensive stuff should be removed once he leaves office, regardless of how he's going to use it.
Too bad all that money needs to be spent on defensive tech, missiles, special paint, etc. If he wants to use it right away, that ought to be his decision (like everything else is).

(5,021 posts)workers must have security clearances, and that's been one of causes of delays. Would think retrofitting this new plane would run into the same problem.

(18,334 posts)America should take ownership of the plane then immediately put it on the auction block for quick sale.
If King trDUMP wants to buy the plane he can bid or it just like everyone else. Sell it where is - As is - no retrofit by the USA. If he wants a retrofit - sign a contract with Boeing and he can customize it all he wants - on his dime,... not the US Taxpayer's dime.

(58,146 posts)No president should ever use that plane while in office. If Putin, or whoever else has access to the codes to get into the software, wants to bring it down with a bunch if civilians in it, Im sure it will be done without any US authorities being able to do anything about it.
Oh, and while Tuberville is busy ranting on about how were saving a billion dollars by accepting this gift, Id like to hear who is donating to the US Treasury the $1 billion necessary to retrofit the plane? Or dont they teach arithmetic in that Alabama school where he was coaching football?
