Im guessing that with Gleason 9 prostate cancer with bone metastasis hes had it for several years. No one including him knew it until recently. That means a lot of people were making fun of an old man for having cancer. Who does that?

(2,029 posts)Sadly, the current recommendation is to stop PSA testing at 70 years old. That is a great disservice for men who could live another 20 years or more if the cancer is caught early or treated aggressively (in the later stages). But Im still surprised that all precautions were not taken with the President.

Besides, does a man with an inch-long dick even have a prostate to become cancerous? It doesn't seem like one would fit down there.

It's like they say of my daughter's disease - most people die **with it**, not **from it**. People were making fun of a man **with** cancer, not **for having** cancer.
