The United States saves the world again! But what about us?

From Josh Marshall on bluesky: "Starting to wonder if we took one for global civic democracy. Electing Trump basically seems to have knee-capped every revanchist far-right candidate in the world. You're welcome world."

The rest of the world is smart enough to see what's going on, and saying "no thank you". Of course, they are not subjected to our rightwing corporate journalists and FAUX news, so there's that.

Do you think we can still save ourselves?

it looks like we'll have to be content as a bad example to avoid. Please remember us kindly when we're gone.

And if any member of the Rump family happens to wash up on your shores, just bury them right then and there. As deep as possible.

it will take a decade or more to recover. And if the Red States continue to elect enough Republicans to slow things down. Decades if ever.
