I have a few remaining MAGAt's in my friend list, mainly people from high-school (a lot of which used to bully me until I grew bigger than them). I mostly kept quiet for years until 2020 and especially after the insurrection. Fast forward to today I am super outspoken and unapologetic about it. I no longer care about having "civil discussions" with these people. To be quite honest it was very cathartic treating them like dirt and being as nasty and disrespectful as I could be. Several have unfriended me or blocked me over the past couple years and I am fine with that. There is no rational conversation with them no getting through. Why should I maintain respect and civility? All of these people deserve nothing but scorn and disdain.

I so wish I took a screenshot of one conversation. This idiot tried to tell me you can "catch autism" a few days after being vaccinated. I called him a stupid fuck and to please hand your children into CPS. He wasn't amused.

I can feel the pulse of the movement. On rare occasions, they may be unhappy about some things maga. On other even rarer occasions they may approve of a democratic policy. As hard as it is sometimes, I keep my mouth shut just to see what's going on in their heads.

14. Early 2017, I was waiting for a client at a property when an older veteran approached me.

He was wearing a black American Legion hat. He decided I needed to know his opinion about the recent election. "It's the best thing that ever happened to us" he said in his old man voice. I usually recount the story using Homer Simpson's dad's voice. "Now everyone will be afraid of him." Seems to me, the only people in the world that are afraid of him are repub politicians and a lot of Americans. The rest of the world simply hates him or takes advantage of him because they know he can be bought.

This one posted some video of a woman in a cat costume identifying ad a cat. It was obviously a dig at trans people or really any LGBT person. So I attacked his alcohol recovery, a low blow absolutely but it's needed against these people. I attacked his constant posts about his recovery and all the cliched sayings he would post. Needless to say he was angry and blocked me lol.
