I'd like to ask journalists who think they are covering this fairly a simple question.
How would you cover this administration differently if you believed your rights, freedom, and very life were at stake?
If they are unsure, I’d suggest talking with journalists from democracies that fell to fascism - you know - the ones who aren’t dead or in prison and managed to escape their country, and ask them what they should have done differently.
We are there. It’s not an intellectual exercise.
