support free birth control for all? How about free medical services for all pregnant women? Has he ever been responsible for a pregnancy that ended in abortion?

I don't think men should be able to get prostate surgery. Or at least not until getting an abortion is open to all, and only the woman and perhaps her partner make that decision.

Their beliefs don't have to be internally consistent or informed. For the most part, they can't be. They vote based on the reactions of their oversized Amygdala.

My Dad literally believes that Kamala Harris is a COMMUNIST because her estranged Dad was a "Marxist" Econ Prof. He's not alone by a long shot, and he's very much a centrist Republican.

Anyone who actually bothered to pay attention shouldn't be surprised. He told people over and over there would be mass deportation, anti-trans policies, worldwide tariffs, he would be "dictator for a day", he would gut the federal workforce, he would end environmental policies, repeal popular Biden and Obama programs and more.

I guess just saying he would lower prices, while giving no specifics, was enough for independent voters to justify the rest. the GOP voters are the same 37% who have been consistently unhinged and derranged. They already loved all of the other stuff he said anyhow.

Kamala Harris warned us about all of it. 75,000,000+ of us listened and voted accordingly.
77M voted based on 24/7 radical right propaganda spewed by fascists, and either ignored P2025 or embraced it.
89M people didn't seem to care at all, and didn't vote.

So, we have a majority ignorant / uninformed electorate who have chosen a regime that seeks to turn us into a technofascist dictatorship, or at the very least, an oligarchy. We have seen this before. With Coolidge and then Hoover, we had the same ingredients: pandemic, economy hurting, blaming of immigrants for economic issues, tariffs implemented, and the robber-barons of the time turned it all into the "Gilded Age" of the Great Gatsby era.

Once wealth inequality and speculation reached a point where almost no one could afford to buy anything, it all fell apart in the Great Depression.

We will have to fight our way out of this current attempt to repeat that ugly history, and the sooner we do, the better for all of us.

This was no fucking landslide as Fat Hoover claims, NOR did Trump even get 50% of the vote. I think most of us forget that from time to time.

that just sat this one out. I know my son is one of them. He's a millennial that follows certain websites. They were pissed about Biden's handling of Hamas and that war. And that Kamala, and the whole Democratic Party is not progressive enough for them. They want big changes, but no matter how I explained it, he thinks the Democratic Party needs replacing with something better and that it has to burn down to do that. I agree with him in part, when the GOP gets in power they ratchet us back two clicks, then the Dems come in, spend most their time righting the ship, Maybe move us forward one click, then the GOP gets back in. I tried to explain it isn't just the Parties, it is also how many moron Americans there are that just keep electing Republicans that keep gumming up the works for a more progressive society. It has caused a lot of friction between us, which I am not too happy about. But, I am also pissed that he and all his like-thinking age group have caused this turmoil we have now.

Brexit. It iis making all of us weaker to the benefitof who.
This also ties in with donnies talk of acquiring Greenland, or the Panama Canal or making Canada the 5st state. It all goes to normaalize the case of acquiring a foreign county. Not sure why this has notbeen mentioned before. When all of a sudden did it become important for the US to acquire foreign lands etc., especiallly when we are becomming isolationists.
On a final note, if we are pulling back from the world and are no longerr the world's policeman, why do we need to spend 850 billion on defense.

to an elderly malignant narcississt is not a good thing. I guess he needs to start WW3 for any of the spineless GOP leaders to even begin to speak up. Luckily the smart traders had shorted the entire market and bought up puts to make a ton of money. Trouble is when the whole thing collapses all the money in the world will not save you from the starving mobs. The rich will be the favorite targets.

Low information voters carried the last election... They only felt the economic pain of higher prices,
and thought of that as "high inflation".

Well, they may get their "wish"--- if this pushes us into a deflationary recession such as 2008-9,
or worse... Prices would go down, but that won't help you much if you lose your JOB!

I am readying a new slogan: "THINGS WERE BETTER WITH BIDEN!"
