majority of inexpensive clothing is made in Thailand, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, or Vietnam. TSF's tariffs on those countries were set yesterday at 36%, 37%, 29%, 26%, and 46%. I would expect a minimum of a 20% increase in consumer pricing.

(108,937 posts)reasonable prices I paid--especially for the winter fleece, scrubs, and other professional wear return again. The one silver lining is that I can't allow myself to gain weight, and have to buy more at much higher prices.
So, eating "right" and my pre-dawn walks with my dog-loving friends will definitely have to continue.

Now if my old car can last at least 3 more years and pretty please not require any major repairs like the slave clutch cylinder Id be mighty grateful!

(54,837 posts)also can get by on the stuff I have. I'm currently giving away all my winter things. I might have to get more summer stuff, but I'll buy them in my new country.

(148,784 posts)I don't know. I remember wearing oversized clothes, though, when I was a kid. I grew into them, and then got some more oversized clothes. My parents didn't go overboard in buying clothes for their growing children. Money was tight.
