In the eyes of maga, they are minorities that wouldn’t vote for trump in the first place.

"Trump’s use of crucial medical supplies in a pandemic to cajole and punish governors who aren’t adequately nice to him is only the latest, most jawdropping example. Trump has been taking advantage of the power of federal procurement to try to enforce the silence of governors critical of his incompetent response to coronavirus: He has threatened to withhold essential equipment that will mean life or death for thousands of people in those states."

Trump is a vicious, vindictive thug.

That asshole would be impeached, convicted and removed. Maybe Wisconsin should think twice before voting in mostly republican representatives in the US House and Ron Johnson. Worthless reps, all.

In fact, he is incapable of acting alone. He has always had plenty of help. The quality of that help has varied, but its justification has always been bent and venal.

Where those who support trump will be primaried. Most elected republicans are a spineless, unpatriotic sort, placing party over country. They fail to see their suicide pact. Their meanness and unchristian like allegiance are hurting Americans daily and they just don’t care.

As awful as this is, we can’t back down and cower in front of them. It’s what they want. This just shows how aware they are of our power, and they are fighting back. There are more of us. I would hope that Milwaukee citizens will help each other in this time of need.

retribution via food aid, firings, setting science and medical research/response back decades, stocks crash, bribery, measles, aspirations to be Putin's equal.

They barely cover these symptoms...but certainly not the disease. We have elected (?) a dysfunctional madman to the most powerful position in the world. It's a different world now and many will not make it through

Time for acknowledgement by TPTB that a huge mistake has been made and we are in serious trouble. Clock is running. Maybe April 5 can help them see it if they haven't already?

I think he has devolved to a psychopath. Suggesting he is a child means he could get better, or has an excuse based on lack of maturity and neither are true. How we characterize him matters.

and he says that they will eventually adapt to selling their goods only in America instead, doesn't it make more sense to buy their food for food banks instead of just cutting them $20 billion in relief checks like he did last time he levied tariffs?

The election has nothing to do with it. It would help if people actually read the articles attached (which says nothing about the election).

USDA halts $615,000 worth of food meant for Milwaukee's Hunger Task Force
The Hunger Task Force says the U.S. Department of Agriculture has halted $500 million in deliveries to food banks nationwide.

WEST MILWAUKEE, Wis. —
Milwaukee's Hunger Task Force says $615,000 worth of food it was expecting this summer has been canceled by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The Hunger Task Force, a nonprofit food pantry in West Milwaukee, tells WISN 12 News the USDA has halted $500 million in deliveries to food banks nationwide.

According to the Hunger Task Force, that $500 million in funding came from the USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation, which provides additional resources to purchase food from American farmers and ranchers and send it to emergency food providers.

Two orders from the Commodity Credit Corporation were set to be received between June and September, totaling $2.2 million worth of food for the entire state of Wisconsin.
