‘I want to stay longer’: Haitian man, family members worry about deportations with protections rescinded
LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) – Members of two Polk County families said they are devastated over decisions by the Trump administration that threaten to deport their loved ones back to Haiti, a war-torn, gang-controlled country.

“These are people. This is not stuff that we’re moving around. These are people’s lives,” said Dawn Chappelear.

Chappelear and her husband, John, moved to Haiti in 2013 to do full-time missionary work.

During their time there, they met Cabila Toussaint, a Haitian boy.

not the American family. What the hell, "this is not what was forecasted," plenty of people outside the magat bubble were warning what tsf would do. Not anyone else's fault you were too fucking brainwashed to listen.

It pretty much takes the leopard to do the convincing.

They have invested so much emotional energy to the clown that at this point they are just too far in.

but then promptly forget it.

And continue to vote for the people who did this.

There is nothing happening now that anyone with an IQ in double digits could not have foreseen.

If you voted for Trump, this is what you voted for. All the human misery, the economic chaos, the environmental disasters waiting to happen (if they haven't already), the deterioration in foreign relations, the deportations, including of people dear to you, the rises in prices--this whole package was laid out, not only by Democrats, but by the Trumpanzees themselves. They made no secret of it. They were PROUD of it. They are proud still. They are proud of the chaos, they are proud of the incompetence, and they are proud of your misery, and that of those you claim to shelter, you "well-meaning" Christian missionaries.

You are all the King of Didd before Bartholomew laid it out for him. Don't you hang your head and tell me you're sorry. I won't starve, and I won't be deported. Go on your knees and beg forgiveness from those whose misery you deliberately encouraged and enabled, all the while falsely claiming you had no idea. Then go deplete your entire net worth trying to make it up to them. You won't succeed, but at least you will be putting yourself in a position where one might believe your regrets.

If listening to Fox Noise convinced them otherwise, that's on them. No one forced them to listen to that drivel, and if they did anyway, no one forced them to believe it. You can't cut off your left hand and expect your piano playing to be as good as it was before.
