(8,219 posts)Still using it.. I may have enough for another one if needed. I don't see any price increases yet on things from China. It does look like the tofu cat litter I get from China has gone up but I'm not sure if it is from this already. by $10!!! This is the only one I can use due to dust from the previous one that affected my asthma a lot, and one of my cats has asthma and inflammation after having toxoplasmosis pneumonia although he didn't seem to be affected by the previous cat litter. I am not sure what to do because it is not available here and would probably cost a lot more here anyway.

(821 posts)The Mac Book Pro starts at $1599. That tariff would add over $900. This should go over well

(30 posts)I don't care if you agree, disagree or are indifferent, this is my opinion only. Paperweights, oops I mean iphones are only good for sitting unused, holding papers in place.....well when they don't combust from being faulty, pieces of crap. I HATE iphones.....can you tell?
Well a piece of crap would be more efficient as a paperweight.

(3,968 posts)Android phone vendors are notorious for delays in fixing security vulnerabilities.
At least Apple addresses that problem in a timely manner.

(7 posts)used to abandon their phones after 3 years, the S25 is supported for 7. I get monthly security but that's usually the providers for not doing major OS updates. I still vastly prefer Samsung to anything Apple.
Hell yes!

(10,439 posts)Jusssssst getting in under the wire there. Phew.
(I mostly kid. But Verizon has literally been e-mailing and texting every other day all month trying to prod me to upgrade. TLDR: The phone was free. Just had to pay taxes on it).
I don't think people are changing phones as often these days. I don't sense the same buzz over "Ooh, new iPhone version!" from people. I used to change my phone out every other generation. This time I'm going from 13 to 16. And like I said, I only bothered because it was more or less free to do so. It's neat, I guess? I haven't bothered with any of the new features yet, and to be honest, don't really care about them. It is a bit zippier tho. And the cameras seem very, very, very slightly better.
I think it has AI in it now, and it's like . . . sure. Unless my phone can strike down my enemies like a T-1000, meh.
